  Had the salmon special which was not very special. The salmon was way over seasoned and the orange sauce it was served with was just a weird combination. And not in a good way.

  We visit every now and then and make an afternoon of viewing the nursery and shop. They have a wide variety of household items and gift ideas, catering for kids as well as adults. The nursery is like most, but the pond and ducks outside are cute and add to the charm and ambience of the outdoor setting. The cafe set on the hill is of good quality, with friendly staff, and is always bustling with energy. If you enjoy a walk, there are a few paths winding through the garden that are fun to explore. Overall, I find it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

  The staff were friendly but didn't have the commonsense to clear our meal plates before bringing the sconces. The scones were nice.

  A disappointing lunch at the cafe. Our experience cost us $96.00 for 3 adults and a 3 year old who hardly ate anything. Yikes! My husband had the pork belly (at $28) even though he thought he was getting the pork on the specials menu (at $16). The meal he received did not have crispy skin as indicated on the menu and the sauce looked like dishwater. We ordered 3 coffees and got 1. The quiche and salad was so, so. No dressing (or tomatoes) with the salad, just sliced cabbage and a bit of cucumber. Used to be good, but the standards have slipped.

  When we arrived for a nice relaxed lunch yesterday, we found a dog locked in a car in the Sun. The windows were down somewhat, but the dog was panting and not looking all that comfortable. We proceeded into the nursery and asked for the manager. He eventually came over and his response was "we don't have a PA system - there are a lot of people here, you can go around and ask them all if you like"!!!! What the ....!! He then went back to the counter, serving people with a smile, like nothing had happened. We were floored! He seemed bemused and definitely didn't feel that he had a duty of care :-( Appalling!!

  Would definitely recommend! The cafe's balcony is so tranquil overlooking a river and the garden and homewares section is pricey but stunning for a walk through
